Following their promotion back to the National League, Old Loughtonians are inviting applications for the position of Women’s 1st team Head Coach.
The role requires a strong communicator with proven leadership skills to continue the progression of a talented squad.
An enthusiastic, ambitious coach who can foster a positive and enjoyable team culture will be key to their success.
Experience of coaching and/or playing elite level Women’s hockey at National League standard is desirable.
An ability to plan, deliver and evaluate high quality coaching sessions and team strategy, as well as leading the team on match days is a prerequisite.
They will need to put in place a strategic vision for Women’s performance hockey at Old Loughts and develop strong links with the club’s talented youth section to help bring through the next generation.
Old Loughtonians is a substantial hockey club with its own ground and top class facilities with both its first teams competing in the Men’s and Women’s National Leagues. They are also an accredited England Hockey Talent Academy.
